What BuyFloor does
BuyFloor calculates eBay UK resale estimates in the Chrome side panel. The current Store release needs no account. Version 1.1 will add an optional account used only for BuyFloor Pro access and billing. BuyFloor does not sell personal data.
Information stored on your device
BuyFloor stores your calculator settings, current calculation and saved decisions in Chrome’s local extension storage. A saved decision can include a name you enter, expected sale price, item purchase price, cost and fee assumptions, and the calculated result. Free users can create up to five saved decisions; Pro removes that limit. Calculation and decision data is not uploaded by the extension.
Browser access
BuyFloor uses Chrome’s storage permission to save your work locally and the sidePanel permission to display the calculator. Network access is limited to BuyFloor’s billing API and Supabase authentication project. It does not request access to eBay pages, browsing history or website content. It does not modify websites, place bids, purchase items or send messages.
Accounts, billing and sharing
BuyFloor has no advertising or behavioural analytics. If you create an account, Supabase processes your email address, authentication data and session information. The BuyFloor billing API, hosted on Vercel, verifies account and subscription status. If you purchase Pro, Stripe processes checkout, payment and billing information; BuyFloor does not receive or store full card details. These providers may process basic technical logs for security and reliability. Page, calculation and saved-decision data remains on your device and is not sent to these services.
Retention and deletion
Local data remains until you delete a saved decision, clear the extension’s data or uninstall BuyFloor. Account and billing records are retained while your account or subscription is active and as needed for security, support and financial recordkeeping. Contact us for account deletion guidance. Cancelling Pro does not delete local calculations.
Security and children
BuyFloor minimises access by using only the permissions needed for the current feature. It is a business utility and is not directed to children.
Changes
Material changes to data handling will be disclosed in an updated notice and, where required, inside the extension before the changed processing begins.
